Primaltones is an artist owned and operated lounge and community venue located in Newport, Or. We provide a variety of events and activities for our community including live music, open mic nights and theater. We’ve hosted international artists and performing acts including world renown flamenco guitarists and aboriginal troupes. We pride ourselves in bringing a variety of quality events and entertainment to our small coastal town.

We also offer our space for private event rental.

We’re typically open Thursday through Saturday and are all ages until 10pm. But our schedule varies depending on what events are scheduled. We have a comfortable atmosphere, quality sound system and years of experience in entertainment and hospitality.

We have a bar that offers wine, cider, beer and lots of non alcoholic options. Our food menu includes pizza, ice cream bars and snacks. We also collaborate with local food trucks and caterers for certain events too.

Our mission is to provide a welcoming and comfortable space with a variety of culture centered events and quality entertainment for all.

You’ll also find the work of Tyler Spencer here, who is a renowned Didgeridoo musician and maker. He frequents our schedule with educational events sharing his knowledge of this ancient wind instrument and performing his original music.
